Intrinsic safe data collection for the petro-chemical and mining industries.

DCA-31/IS™ Intrisically Safe

The Azima DLI DCA-31/IS™ allows the user to perform vibration analysis in hazardous areas such as those commonly found in the petrochemical industry.

The DCA-31/IS™ Data Collector / Real Time Analyzer has been designed specifically for use in hazardous areas. Intrinsically safe requirements place certain limitations on the functionality of the analyzer as compared to the DCA-31B. Azima DLI recommends that users check to see if IS instruments are truly required or if data can be collected once areas have been deamed safe to enter (i.e. hot work permits are granted) or if sensors can be permanantly mounted in hazardous areas and cabled through barriers into junction boxes in non hazardous areas.

Intrinsically Safe

The DCA-31/IS is certified according to ATEX (European Community) directive 100a for non-mining applications with a gaseous explosive hazard continuously present ( II1G EEx ia IIC). Azima DLI can provide additional IS certification information upon request.

Integration

The DCA-31B can be integrated with a number of condition monitoring systems, including ExpertALERT™, StandardALERT™, Azima DLI DCX™, and SpriteMAX™ systems. Load or unload your survey data through its traditional serial port.
