WATCHMAN Remote™ Monitoring Services
WATCHMAN Remote™ is a cost-effective, subscription-based service for online machine condition monitoring of critical in-plant and remotely installed machines.
WATCHMAN Remote is a hybrid system made up of intelligent online monitoring hardware, telecommunications, proven monitoring techniques and a centralized team of highly experienced technical and engineering personnel dedicated to your uptime objectives. When the installed monitoring system recognizes a machine fault, an automated alert will notify you and Azima DLI systems engineers. Your machine is remotely analyzed and notifications are sent out to your staff. Our analysts contact you and explain the nature of the fault, its severity and progression. Results are then documented in a condition monitoring report and made available to you via the WATCHMAN Reliability Portal™.

TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED
The primary monitoring technology is multi-channel narrowband vibration analysis. For machine components with lubricated systems, optional in-line oil particle counters are deployed for early detection of wear particles. In the case where machines have varying load and operational speeds, relevant process data that represents machine “workload” is collected and becomes an important element for proper machine state determinations. Combining this in a real-time monitoring system provides Azima DLI monitoring staff the complete information needed for accurate machine condition assessments and trending of developing faults.
APPLICATIONS
Our customers use WATCHMAN Remote for process-critical machines, machines where testing concerns human safety, hard to reach machines and remote or unmanned installations. In cases where transient machine fault symptoms occur, monthly periodic testing may prove insufficient to identify machine problems. WATCHMAN Remote provides continuous surveillance to capture these conditions as they occur, and provides the analyst with critical information needed to identify and track potential machine faults.
