Rotor Thermal Bow
Uneven heating of the rotor due to unbalanced rotor bar current distribution causes the rotor to warp, or "bow", and rotor bow results in an imbalance condition with all its usual symptoms. It can be detected by the fact that it goes away when the motor is cold.
